Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a medium-sized team (6–15 therapists) providing pediatric and mixed-population care in Beverly, MA. This role focuses on patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, hands-on therapeutic intervention, and family education. Entry-level clinicians with a valid Massachusetts license are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities, needs, and progress
- Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans based on assessments
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor, sensory, and daily-living skills
- Provide education and coaching to patients, caregivers, and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (PT, SLP, nursing, physicians) to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment notes
- Support families through therapy planning and discharge preparation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure)
- Strong skills in patient assessment and evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable documentation and time-management practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level to early-career occupational therapists welcome
- Experience with pediatric and mixed patient populations
- Familiarity with family-centered care and caregiver training
- Demonstrated problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills
