The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients with various disabilities to help them achieve maximum functional independence. What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services that help patients achieve maximum functional independence. You will complete patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based interventions to improve daily living skills, motor function, and independence
- Accurately document evaluations, goals, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the medical record to meet departmental and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team about treatment goals and progress
- Maintain required certifications, licensure, and comply with facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
- Current MA OT license (MAOT) required
- CPR certification required
- Two years of experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must possess sight/hearing or use prostheses that enable performance of essential job functions
Schedule & Location
- Location: Allendale, MA (position will be employed by Confidential Client)
- Typical schedule noted in the original posting: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday with rotating holidays
- This is a full-time role. Exact shift times and additional scheduling details will be provided by Confidential Client during the hiring process.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (as listed in source posting): $86,462 per year — estimated
