What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Clinical Nurse I (Nurse Resident) to join a fast-paced 28-bed medicine telemetry unit (Farr 2). This role is ideal for new graduate nurses looking to build clinical skills in acute-care telemetry, work collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams, and provide patient-centered care across varied age groups.

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Deliver safe, equitable, and timely patient-centered care on a telemetry/medicine unit.
• Coordinate care and direct assistive personnel as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; act as a patient advocate.
• Maintain mandatory annual education, emergency skills, and unit-based competencies.
• Participate in unit-based orientation, training, and competency evaluation under a Nurse Leader and educator.
• Support unit goals for quality, safety, and compassionate care.

Who You Are / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 0–1 years of related work experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Strong communication, organization, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Medium work: may exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Role is physically active — standing and moving for the majority of the shift.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $38.00 – $98.19 per hour (base hourly wage range the organization reasonably expects to pay). Actual pay will be based on experience, certifications, shift differentials, and other lawful factors. This listing complies with applicable pay-transparency requirements for Massachusetts.
