NMSI Module Engineer- Entry Level
The NMSI Module Engineer at Confidential Client is responsible for managing critical manufacturing equipment and processes to support rapid device miniaturization and high-volume integrated circuit production. This role involves maintaining process control, driving equipment and process improvements, leading technology transfer globally, and ensuring operational reliability through maintenance and qualification activities. The engineer champions continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and yield, contributing to manufacturing excellence in semiconductor fabrication.

What You’ll Do
Own and support critical, high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes that enable device miniaturization and the mass production of integrated circuits. You will work across teams to maintain process control, improve equipment performance, and scale manufacturing to high-volume production.
- Perform tests, measurements, and data analysis to maintain process control and meet critical dimension and defectivity targets.
- Identify, recommend, and implement equipment and process improvements to raise production efficiency, yield, quality, and safety.
- Drive manufacturing capacity scale-up and support successful technology transfer to other manufacturing sites.
- Lead and coordinate equipment maintenance, repair, installation, conversion, and qualification activities during factory ramp-ups.
- Develop and optimize excursion-prevention systems and process controls to improve operational stability and reduce risk.
- Investigate and resolve equipment and process discrepancies; collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to reach performance targets.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site as required by manufacturing schedules and safety rules.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications are a plus and will help identify top candidates.
- Experience with semiconductor device fabrication.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and process control methodologies.
- Familiarity with lithography, metrology, wet etch, plating, or defect metrology.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional manufacturing environments.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range for U.S. locations: $89,010 — $125,660 USD. Actual pay will be determined by location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Work Model & Location
This position requires an on-site presence in Panorama Heights, NM (Shift 1). Candidates should be able to work at the manufacturing site and participate in factory ramp-up activities, equipment installations, and cross-site transfers as needed.
