What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a New Grad Software Engineer to join an early-career engineering team in New York, NY. This role is an on-site, full-time position focused on building web products that solve real customer problems across the stack.

• Build and ship features for a React frontend and Python/FastAPI backend.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver high-impact functionality.
• Maintain and improve internal tools that increase team productivity.
• Work with data systems used for risk assessment and claims decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team rituals.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following to be considered:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field (recently graduated or graduating by Summer 2025).
• Experience building web applications through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Comfortable working across front-end and back-end boundaries and a willingness to learn full-stack engineering.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with React, Python, FastAPI, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Prior internship experience at fast-paced startups or engineering teams.
