What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe, patient‑centered nursing care on a medical‑surgical unit.
  • Collect vital signs, monitor patient status, and document findings accurately.
  • Administer IV and other medications safely and per policy.
  • Implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, social work).
  • Maintain a therapeutic and safe patient environment.
  • Participate in orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or active RN applicant status.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) preferred upon hire; required prior to direct patient care if not held at hire.
  • Clinical skills appropriate for med‑surg care (IV medication administration, patient assessment, charting).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
