Role overview
Confidential Client is hiring a New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med‑Surg full-time position. This is an entry-level clinical RN role (scheduled weekly hours: 36) supporting a Med‑Surg patient population. New Grad RNs may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care for medical and surgical diagnoses
- Assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions
- Collect vital signs and administer IV medications per policy
- Develop, update and evaluate individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe, therapeutic environments
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (preferred upon hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong organizational skills, clinical curiosity, and effective communication
- Comfortable working rotating or variable shifts (all shifts covered)
