Position Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg unit in Greenville, SC. This full-time position supports evening/night coverage (36 scheduled weekly hours) and is ideal for recent nursing graduates or RN applicants ready to begin hands-on clinical practice in a medical-surgical setting.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care on a Med-Surg unit as an entry-level RN
  • Assess patient status and develop/perform individualized plans of care
  • Implement clinical nursing interventions for patients with medical and surgical diagnoses
  • Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and complete accurate charting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or RN applicant eligible for state RN licensure (or current RN license)
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize patient needs
  • Basic understanding of clinical charting, medication administration, and IV therapy
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant status
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (preferred upon hire; must be obtained prior to direct patient care)

Schedule & Employment Type

  • Full-time, 36 scheduled weekly hours
  • Primary shift: Evenings / Nights
