What You’ll Do

The New Grad Med‑Surg Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high‑quality, entry‑level nursing care on a medical‑surgical unit. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to assess patients, carry out care plans, and support a safe, therapeutic environment.

• Provide nursing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses
• Use strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
• Implement clinical nursing interventions and revise plans of care
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Maintain patient safety and a therapeutic environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, update and revise individualized plans of care to meet expected outcomes
• Administer medications in accordance with state practice and client policies
• Perform charting and documentation timely and accurately
• Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Qualifications

• Entry‑level or new graduate Registered Nurse (RN) — current RN licensure or RN applicant status required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (preferred upon hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and time‑management skills
• Ability to work evening/night shifts (position schedule described below)

• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
• Work Shift: Evenings/Nights
• Department: Nursing Float Pool — St. Francis — Downtown
• Location: Greenville, SC (on‑site)

Compensation & Incentives

• New Grad RNs may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000 (program rules and eligibility determined by our client)
