Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level, field-based New Grad - Onsite Project Manager to support large-scale warehouse automation and robotics deployments. This is a remote, travel-intensive role (up to 75% travel). Candidates must be located within the Eastern or Central time zones and able to work on customer sites across the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Support execution of large-scale customer deployment projects for warehouse automation and robotics.
- Partner with experienced Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules, deliverables, and project milestones.
- Track project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies; escalate when appropriate.
- Attend internal and customer meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain project schedules, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, supply chain, installation, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Support site readiness: logistics planning, resource coordination, and execution tracking.
- Analyze project data and metrics to inform planning and decision-making.
- Help drive accountability and clear communication across stakeholders.
- Build skills and take on increasing ownership of project responsibilities.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Construction/Operations/ Supply Chain Management; or a related field.
- Internship, co-op, academic project, leadership experience, or relevant work experience demonstrating project coordination or operational execution.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other common business tools.
- Exposure to project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.) is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing a career in project management, operations, construction, robotics, automation, or large-scale system deployment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% and work regularly on customer sites.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to customer locations.
Our Environment & Physical Requirements
- Remote, field-based position with frequent travel.
- Frequently required to walk, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; may work at heights or in restricted-access areas.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
- Must comply with all customer and company safety requirements and protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for this location: $80,000 - $95,000 per year. Actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.
