What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 (EEG) to perform diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing that supports clinical teams in patient diagnosis and monitoring. This is an entry-level, supervised clinical technologist role focused on high-quality patient care and accurate data collection.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform digital electroencephalograms (dEEG) and routine electrocardiograms (EKG/ECG) according to departmental protocols.
  • Prepare patients for testing, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate and troubleshoot EEG/ECG equipment; record accurate, high-quality study data.
  • Document findings, maintain clear patient records, and escalate clinically significant events to providers.
  • Maintain infection-control standards and safe handling of specimens/equipment.
  • Support pediatric and adult patients as needed and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited allied health program or an Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a patient-care environment preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50–100 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing EEG or ECG testing in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with neurodiagnostic/electrophysiology equipment and basic troubleshooting.
  • Comfort working with pediatric patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Physical Demands & Workplace Conditions

  • Frequent standing, bending, and patient transfers may be required.
  • Possible exposure to blood/body fluids, chemicals, and infectious agents.
  • Work typically follows established clinical protocols and is performed under supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $22.39 - $35.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
