What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Network Engineer to join a global infrastructure team supporting production systems. This role is hands-on and ideal for recent internship participants invited to return for a full-time opportunity.

• Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure: routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and performance metrics; identify optimization opportunities
• Participate in configuration management and change control processes
• Contribute to network automation efforts using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Use Python (or similar) scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation and network topology diagrams
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and service requests in production environments
• Participate in knowledge-sharing, team troubleshooting, and on-call rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
• Solid foundational understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and/or Python scripting
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and network administration
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and operational processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in AI-assisted network management and observability tools
• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
• Experience with network monitoring and performance-management tools
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Location & Work Model

This is a hybrid role based in Times Square, WA. The team expects periodic onsite collaboration with most day-to-day work performed in a hybrid schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base pay: $71,100 - $106,700 (range)
