Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Network Administrator to support enterprise IT infrastructure in Garden, GA. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting servers, networking equipment, security updates, backups, monitoring, and providing technical support escalations. The position requires strong customer-service orientation and the ability to work independently while collaborating with vendors and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and decommission enterprise hardware and software (servers, switches, firewalls, endpoints).
  • Triage and resolve work orders escalated to the Network Administration team; escalate when appropriate.
  • Apply security patches, manage antivirus definitions, and monitor for security/performance issues.
  • Maintain and verify system backups and perform restore tests.
  • Monitor infrastructure resources and use tools to proactively identify and remediate issues.
  • Maintain accurate change documentation and support change management processes.
  • Use and update call-logging/ticketing systems with clear, timely status notes.
  • Work with vendors and partners to ensure successful project and day-to-day support activities.
  • Participate in planned maintenance, routine downtime, and occasional after-hours or weekend work.
  • Attend technical and business meetings and act as an IS representative for projects and initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders including clinicians, staff, and external partners.
  • Travel periodically to remote sites using a personal vehicle when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year serving as a technical resource supporting enterprise IT infrastructure (required).
  • Professional certification (required).
  • Entry-level industry certification (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established policies, procedures, and change-management practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document technical processes clearly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive/restricted information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • Formal training or coursework in IT Infrastructure or IT Security (preferred).
  • Experience with server administration, network devices (switches/routers/firewalls), backup and recovery solutions, and monitoring tools.
