What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Contract Network Access Control (ISE) specialist to provide day-to-day operational support for network and firewall policy service offerings. This is an onsite role based in Nashville, AR.
- Provide daily operational support and maintenance for products that deliver the team’s service offerings (firewall policy, network posture, web portal).
- Perform Network Access Control governance using Cisco ISE.
- Support network improvement and risk reduction initiatives including network segmentation, application protection, and hardware refresh projects.
- Manage firewall and proxy policy tasks; troubleshoot issues with firewall and cloud policy service offerings.
- Execute testing and QA for changes and new deployments prior to production.
- Work closely with Product Owner(s) and internal process partners to resolve technical issues and implement process/technical improvements.
- Document operational procedures, configuration changes, and incident resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering/Architecture, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Functional experience with Cisco ISE and Network Access Control concepts.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity network best practices, firewall management, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with internal network management, traffic/data flows, and application protection concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused with a high level of initiative and accountability.
Preferred / Helpful Skills
- Experience with network segmentation projects.
- Hands-on experience with firewall policy lifecycle and cloud policy integrations.
- Prior experience in a contracted or support-focused security operations environment.
- Ability to perform system testing and QA for change deployments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour.
- Actual pay will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
