Our confidential client is an AI Agent Platform founded in 2020 and based in Midtown Manhattan. They build voice and conversational AI agents that connect to customer data to automate support, sales, and operations. This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and AI — ideal for analysts who want to drive product decisions, improve AI agent performance, and enable teams with best-in-class analytics and instrumentation.


What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

You will turn large, complex conversation and behavioral datasets into actionable insights that inform product decisions, agent tuning, and operational improvements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and build internal reports and dashboards to inform product and business decisions
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Product Specialists to inform how AI agents are built, tuned, and evaluated for customers
  • Define, document, and maintain key business metrics and the underlying data model
  • Design and maintain dashboards and self-serve analytics (Looker or similar)
  • Implement and validate metric calculations and tracking in the data warehouse / analytics layer
  • Use AI coding assistants to accelerate analysis, while rigorously reviewing and iterating on AI-generated code
  • Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional partners and help stakeholders act on insights

Qualifications / About You

We are looking for an analytical, pragmatic Data Analyst with strong product instincts and experience working with modern analytics stacks. Minimum qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or management consultant performing quantitative analysis
  • Fluent in SQL and experience using dbt for analytics engineering
  • Experience with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, ClickHouse, or similar)
  • Comfortable building dashboards and reports in Looker or comparable BI tools
  • Strong data modeling and metric-definition experience; ability to produce reproducible, well-documented analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tell a story with data
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and collaborating with engineering and product teams
  • Enthusiastic about leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and improve outputs through careful review
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available at time of posting unless otherwise stated)

Compensation (NY pay transparency)

Estimated base salary range: $120,000 — $145,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other factors. Offers may include equity and (in some cases) a variable compensation component. Final compensation and benefits will be provided at offer.

Location & Work Model

This position is based in New York City (Midtown). The role is hybrid: in-office required Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; office-optional Monday and Friday.
