What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a dedicated Multiple Subjects Teacher to deliver rigorous, culturally responsive elementary instruction in Stockton, CA. In this role you will:

• Design and deliver daily and long-term lesson plans aligned to the school’s academic vision
• Use assessment and student data to guide instruction and accelerate growth
• Integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Restorative Practices to build an inclusive, joyful classroom culture
• Apply culturally responsive classroom management to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations for every student
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and school leaders to build strong partnerships
• Participate fully in weekly professional development, coaching cycles, and Communities of Practice

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Hold a valid California teaching credential in the appropriate subject, OR be eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit (CPR certification by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is a prerequisite for these permits)

Experience (preferred)

• Experience teaching students with demographics similar to the community served by Confidential Client

Skills & Mindsets

• Strong content knowledge and instructional skill
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom) and willingness to learn new instructional technologies (e.g., Zoom, Nearpod)

Essential Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and adjust standards-aligned instruction for elementary students
• Regularly analyze student work and assessment data to inform small-group and whole-class instruction
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, behavior) and use them to support student outcomes
• Collaborate with instructional coaches and leadership to refine practice through feedback and coaching

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands

• Physical: Ability to navigate school and classroom settings; occasional lifting of equipment (1–20 lbs); ability to move into various positions (kneel, walk, bend, reach) as needed in a classroom
• Mental: Manage deadlines, interruptions, and sustained concentration; analyze problems and generate alternatives
• Environmental: Work within a busy school environment subject to interruptions; follow health and safety guidance from public health authorities

Compensation & Employment Details

• Employment type: Full-time (Contract)
• Location: Stockton, CA (on-site)
• Estimated salary: $92,874 per year (estimated)
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, transportation, and other benefits as described by the client. Salary scales are benchmarked against local district and charter schools; specific step scales are available for the client’s Stockton scale.
