What You’ll Do
As an Audit Associate you’ll join a client-service team delivering financial statement audits and assurance work. This is an entry-level, client-facing role where you’ll learn auditing methodology, develop technical accounting skills, and help teams deliver quality, timely engagements.
- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Use data analysis to identify trends, risks, and insights that support client decision-making
- Support documentation of audit procedures and findings
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and meet deliverables
- Assist senior staff with research, technical accounting questions, and project tasks
- Maintain data quality and confidentiality for sensitive financial information
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in final academic year in Accounting (or closely related)
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full-time
- Available to work full-time and participate in client engagements
Preferred / Differentiators
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Hands-on experience or coursework in auditing methodologies and data analytics
- Comfort leveraging AI tools to automate tasks, surface insights, and improve efficiency
- Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 — $104,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable law)
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus

- Location: Minneapolis, MN (onsite / client work)
- Travel: Up to 20%
