Position Summary

Confidential Client is seeking a Mid–Senior Software Engineer (contract) to support development and deployment activities for business-critical systems. This role is based in Boardman, OR and is ideal for an experienced engineer who can contribute to product development, ensure reliable deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

What You’ll Do

• Support the full software development lifecycle: design, build, test, and deploy features.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineers to scope work and deliver on schedule.
• Participate in deployment planning and execution to maintain service reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and implementation notes.

Who You Are

• Mid–Senior level engineer with hands-on experience contributing to production systems.
• Comfortable working in a contract engagement and adapting to established processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work effectively with remote and on-site stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven, with a focus on maintainable code and operational stability.

• Proven professional experience as a software engineer (mid to senior level).
• Experience supporting development and deployment activities in a production environment.
