  • Build document-processing workflows for ingestion, OCR, data extraction, transformation, and downstream delivery.
  • Develop and integrate AI-enabled services that connect LLMs, agentic workflows, external tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise data.
  • Design and maintain microservices and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in deployments, production releases, troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, product partners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, standups, retrospectives).

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot (Groovy experience is a plus).
  • Experience building services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.
  • Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Hands‑on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X‑Ray).
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience building automated unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (GitLab preferred).

Agentic AI & LLM Experience

  • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and connecting models to tools, data, and services.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI architectures and multi-step orchestration patterns.
  • Experience building or integrating tools that allow AI agents to interact with APIs, databases, files, and downstream services.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and token optimization for production LLM applications.
  • Experience integrating LLM capabilities into enterprise software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OCR and intelligent document-processing tools (AWS Textract, Tesseract).
  • Experience with LLM/agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Amazon Bedrock Agents.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging, or asynchronous processing.
  • Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data visualization or dashboarding tools (e.g., QuickSight).
  • Experience supporting enterprise search, text analytics, or document intelligence applications.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.

Ideal Candidate
