Overview

Methods Process Analyst — San Antonio, TX (Onsite)
Full-Time Consultant | 6-month assignment | 1st Shift (4x10: Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat)
Pay Rate: Starting at $31.15/hour

As a Methods Process Analyst you will support process improvement and production planning for a confidential client in the aerospace/engineering space. This entry-level engineering role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to Industrial Engineering, Lean methods, and shop-floor data analysis on a high-profile aircraft program.


What You’ll Do

You will help analyze production activities, document processes, and support operational improvements across assembly and manufacturing tasks for the program.

  • Develop operating and recovery plans to meet production objectives
  • Support development and maintenance of models, databases, and spreadsheets that analyze operational data and trends
  • Apply Lean and Industrial Engineering concepts to help improve quality, reduce cost, and support schedule performance
  • Assist in solving routine technical and process-related issues
  • Observe, document, and map production processes in manufacturing areas and on aircraft at various stages
  • Perform historical and trend-based data analysis to support staffing plans and scheduling
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred)
  • Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX and follow site-specific safety procedures
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods; climb steps or ladders as needed; lift up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or coursework related to aerospace or aircraft manufacturing
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (example: IVT) and/or scheduling tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) or demonstrated Lean experience
  • Experience conducting time studies and presenting findings to leadership

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay: $31.15 per hour
