Role overview

This entry-level Medical Assistant role is a contract-to-hire, full-time opportunity in Westminster, CO. It's designed for recent graduates on a pre-med, pre-nursing, or pre-PA career track who want hands-on patient care experience, direct exposure to physicians, and clinical hours to support future graduate school applications. Confidential Client will provide comprehensive training and sponsor CCMA certification for qualifying candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Support patients through the visit from check-in to check-out and ensure a positive patient experience
• Room patients; collect vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information
• Scribe physician visits and accurately document assessments and treatment plans in the EMR
• Present patient information and updates to providers before appointments
• Assist with orders, referrals, follow-up appointments, and basic care coordination
• Work closely with physicians and clinical staff in a specialty clinic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, health, or pre-med related field
• Intention to pursue advanced healthcare education (medical school, PA school, nursing school, etc.) within the next few years
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Willingness to commit to the role for at least 18–24 months
• Reliable transportation to support occasional travel between Westminster and nearby clinic locations

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $18.00/hour (range: $18.00 - $18.00/hr)
• Company-sponsored Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) and pay increase upon certification
