About the Role
The Media Assistant provides day-to-day operational support to the Media Buying team at our confidential client. This entry-level role helps ensure Video (TV, OTT), Audio (terrestrial and digital radio, podcast), Out‑of‑Home, and Display campaigns run smoothly — from order entry and trafficking to post‑campaign reporting and reconciliation.
- Function as a campaign liaison to media vendors and provide administrative support to Buyers, Supervisors and Account Management
- Send broadcast orders and revisions; respond to station/network vendor requests in a timely manner
- Request and process logs (airing times) and pacing reports; perform pre‑ and post‑log entry and budget tracking
- Handle traffic requests promptly and accurately
- Manage credit requests and invoice discrepancies with accounting
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and assist with client reporting
- Support multiple campaigns at once and participate in ad‑hoc projects as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented candidate with strong communication and time‑management skills.
- Entry‑level role (suitable for recent grads or equivalent experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in media or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working with numbers and basic algebra for budgeting/tracking
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing demands, and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Highly dependable and able to work both independently and in a team
Travel
This position does not require regularly scheduled travel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $46,000 per year
