What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and systems. This is an in-person role based in Tucson, AZ.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Assist with mechanical design, prototyping, and testing activities.
- Perform tolerance analysis, basic calculations, and design validation.
- Support senior engineers in developing new products and improving existing designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0–3 years of mechanical design experience (internships acceptable).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings).
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals (materials, mechanics, manufacturing).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to customer-related requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation or similar).
- Familiarity with GD&T principles.
- Exposure to prototyping, machining, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with PDM systems.

- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.

- Estimated pay: $120,769 per year (estimated).
