What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join the Energy Solutions team. You will support performance contracting projects from development through warranty and help grow client relationships.
- Support development and presentation of project opportunities to clients
- Participate in client meetings, industry events, and proposal preparation
- Perform site visits, energy audits, and energy-use calculations
- Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
- Support bidding and procurement to achieve quality and competitive outcomes
- Assist with contract administration and coordination with construction managers
- Commission installed systems to verify performance and ensure project goals
- Support clients through the warranty period and follow-up activities
- Collaborate with Measurement & Verification (M&V) specialists to produce M&V reports
Who You Are / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 0–3 years of experience with an energy services company, consulting engineering firm, or commissioning provider preferred
- Strong interest or background in HVAC design, commissioning, energy engineering, or performance contracting
- Self-motivated, client-focused, able to work independently and in teams
- Good written and verbal communication skills; able to present to clients and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required

Location & Travel
This posting is for a role associated with the Energy Solutions division. Primary authoritative location for this posting: Newburgh Heights, OH. Position may support projects and clients across multiple states as part of regional Energy Solutions work. Travel to client sites and project locations will be required as projects demand.

- Estimated salary (source): $122,946 per year (estimated)
