What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join their Professional Design Services group. You will work on MEP building systems design and support projects from concept through construction documentation across multiple markets and delivery models (office and remote).

• Take responsibility for mechanical system design for buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
• Produce design documents, calculations, specifications, and construction-level drawings
• Use Revit, AutoCAD and BIM tools to develop and coordinate models with other disciplines
• Support proposal and scope development efforts and help estimate engineering effort
• Mentor and support junior MEP engineering staff as they grow technically
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues
• Manage multiple tasks and move projects efficiently through design phases

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
• 0–2 years of related MEP design experience (entry-level candidates with relevant internship/co-op experience are encouraged to apply)
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients and project teams
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• EIT certification preferred; PE license is a strong plus (candidates with plans to pursue PE are welcome)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with HVAC load calculations, ductwork and piping sizing, and equipment selection
• Familiarity with construction documentation standards and specifications
• Experience with project proposals and scopes for building systems
• Prior mentoring or training experience with junior staff

• This role is based in Peachtree Corners, GA and may be filled as an in-office or remote assignment (remote candidates must be able to support project needs across U.S. time zones as required).
