About the Role
Confidential Client is seeking an Early Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join a Professional Design Services team in Peachtree Corners, GA. This entry-level MEP design role (0–2 years) focuses on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and piping. You will work across project phases from concept through construction documentation, mentor junior engineers, support proposals, and interact directly with clients.
What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing, piping) for building projects.
- Create and review Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM models and construction documents.
- Mentor and train junior MEP staff and provide technical guidance.
- Support proposal development and project scoping.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical and civil engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Manage multiple projects and design stages across markets.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 0–2 years of MEP design experience.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
- EIT certification preferred; PE license a strong plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to professional growth.
Compensation & Additional Info
Estimated starting base pay: $90,165 per year (estimated). Final compensation depends on experience, location, and role level. Additional cash incentives and a benefits package may be available. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background checks and, where applicable, drug/alcohol screening.
