What You’ll Do

You will join a confidential client as an entry-level Mechanical Engineer I, supporting senior engineers across projects involving mechanical systems, propulsion, structures, and environmental systems. You will learn on the job while contributing to engineering objectives and project deliverables.

  • Assist senior engineers with analysis, design, and evaluation of mechanical components and systems (propulsion, structures, environmental systems)
  • Collect, process, and analyze test and performance data to support engineering decisions
  • Support structural analysis and component-level test activities
  • Create and update CAD models and detail drawings; follow drawing standards and GD&T
  • Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and reports to communicate results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow guidance from senior engineers to meet project milestones
  • Help identify and resolve routine technical problems of limited scope

About You

You are motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow as an early-career mechanical engineer in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Minimum qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Entry-level: typically 0–2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for technical topics
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow direction from senior engineers
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to engineering tasks and documentation

Preferred qualifications

  • Internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering or related engineering work
  • Familiarity with propulsion, structural analysis, or environmental systems testing and analysis
  • Experience with CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks and familiarity with GD&T and drawing standards
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $77,234.00 - $106,196.75 per year (range disclosed consistent with applicable pay-transparency rules)

  • Actual pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education, and market factors
