What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join their Energy Solutions team. In this role you will support energy projects across the building lifecycle — from field audits to energy-analysis and reporting — while learning on the job and working closely with project managers.
- Conduct building and system audits and site assessments
- Perform energy analysis and savings calculations
- Prepare clear technical reports and client deliverables
- Attend client and project team meetings; support project coordination
- Support commissioning, retro-commissioning, and implementation activities
- Other duties as assigned to support project delivery and client success
Who We’re Looking For (Required Experience)
Confidential Client typically hires self-motivated, client-focused engineers with a technical background in HVAC or building systems.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience with an energy services company, consulting engineering firm, or commissioning practice (preferred)
- Demonstrated interest in energy efficiency, performance contracting, or HVAC design
- Ability to travel to client sites for assessments and meetings as required
Desired Skills
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Familiarity with HVAC design concepts and mechanical systems
- Experience or interest in energy modeling and savings calculations
- Auditing and commissioning experience is a plus
- Comfortable working in client-facing roles and collaborative teams
- Basic project management and construction knowledge
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
