What You’ll Do
This role supports generation engineering activities under the direction of senior engineers. You will perform intermediate-to-advanced engineering tasks, contribute to project planning and execution, and help ensure work complies with applicable codes, standards and internal processes.
- Assist senior engineers with analysis, design, and troubleshooting for generation equipment, systems, and components.
- Apply engineering theory to well-defined problems and clear portions of more complex issues.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and cost estimates using established standards.
- Participate in project planning: scheduling (CPM/PERT), progress monitoring, and budget tracking.
- Support compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and present new approaches when appropriate.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements (entry-level / new graduates):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or a Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology with a plan to obtain a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Passing (or preparing for) the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is encouraged and preferred.
- Basic familiarity with relevant standards, codes, and industry practices in power generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and present technical information.
- Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn and accept coaching from higher-level engineers.
Preferred / career-growth attributes:
- Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Experience or coursework in scheduling techniques (CPM, PERT) and cost estimating.
- Any prior internships or co-op experience in power generation or related fields.

- Engineer / Engineer Technologist Associate: $74,551.00 - $93,188.00 per year
- Engineer / Engineer Technologist: $87,633.00 - $109,542.00 per year
- Engineer / Engineer Technologist Senior: $98,993.00 - $128,688.00 per year
Overall posted compensation range: $74,551.00 - $128,688.00 per year.
- The final grade and compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and relevant skills.

Location & Work Type
- Location: Meers, OK (onsite / site-based position tied to generation facilities in the region).
- Employment type: Full-time.
