What You’ll Do

This entry-level engineering role is on a vehicle communications team supporting embedded systems, machine communications, and vehicle network diagnostics. You will receive hands-on training and work with experienced engineers to support software flashing, communication troubleshooting, data collection, and system validation.

• Support troubleshooting and analysis of machine and vehicle communication systems.
• Perform software flashing, configuration, and validation activities.
• Collect, analyze, and document operational data from machines and vehicles in field environments.
• Assist in diagnosing communication issues involving Ethernet and CAN networks.
• Use Linux-based systems and diagnostic tools for engineering tasks.
• Participate in shop-floor testing and field investigations as required.
• Maintain technical documentation and report findings to project teams.
• Work collaboratively across engineering teams and adapt to changing project priorities.

Who You Are

You are a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn in field and lab environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
• Comfortable using Linux-based tools for diagnostics and testing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork and shop-floor testing.
• Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a technical engineering role.

Work Environment & Schedule

This role blends office, shop-floor, and field activities.

• Approximately 25% office-based engineering work.
• Approximately 25% shop-floor testing and validation.
• Approximately 50% fieldwork for machine diagnostics and data collection.
• May require travel to client sites or field locations and occasional hands-on work in shop/vehicle environments.
