What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s engineering team is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems for commercial and public building projects.

  • Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies
  • Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection system designs from concept through construction
  • Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts to code
  • Produce detailed engineering reports and narratives
  • Coordinate mechanical system requirements with architecture, structural engineering, and other disciplines

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 0–5 years’ experience at an MEP or building systems firm working on commercial/public projects
  • Demonstrated experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems for complex projects

Preferred (nice-to-have)

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • LEED Accredited Professional or experience with green building rating systems
  • Interest or experience in sustainable building design
  • Energy-modeling experience (Trace 700 and/or IESVE)
  • Experience with BIM workflows (e.g., Autodesk Revit MEP)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $108,000 USD (location- and experience-dependent)
