Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level to early-career Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team designing packaging and material handling equipment, including conveyor systems and large mechanical assemblies. This contract-to-hire, fully onsite role in Aurora, CO offers structured training, mentorship, and strong potential for professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Design conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and other mechanical assemblies
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
• Develop shop and fabrication drawings and maintain BOMs
• Support projects from concept through manufacturing and assembly
• Apply mechanical design principles, including sheet metal design
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to solve design challenges
• Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3.5 GPA required
• SolidWorks experience (3D modeling and drafting)
• Strong mechanical design and engineering fundamentals
• Experience producing drawings, documentation, and maintaining BOMs
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Contract-to-hire)
• Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors
