What You’ll Do
This entry-level Mechanical Design Engineer role supports the development of industrial machinery and fabricated equipment. You will learn from senior engineers, produce CAD models and manufacturing drawings, and help take designs from concept to production.
- Assist with design and development of industrial machinery and mechanical components using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Produce and revise engineering drawings, BOMs and assembly documentation for manufacture.
- Support basic mechanical analysis and tolerance specification; escalate complex analyses to senior engineers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, fabrication and QA teams to validate designs and support production troubleshooting.
- Participate in prototyping, bench testing and factory assembly when required.
- Follow engineering standards, maintain CAD data and revision control, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software — Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Strong technical drawing and dimensioning skills; familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
- Interest in machinery design, fabrication, weldments and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a structured mentoring environment.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Internship or co-op experience in mechanical design or manufacturing.
- Basic familiarity with FEA tools or mechanical analysis workflows.
- Experience with sheet metal, weldments, or material selection for industrial equipment.
- Exposure to production processes, jigs/fixtures, or assembly methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: US$65,000 - US$80,000 per year (range provided by our client).
- Additional compensation: Quarterly bonuses (per client program).

Location & Work Model
- Work location: Langhorne, PA — onsite at a state-of-the-art production facility (commutable from Philadelphia, Doylestown, Newtown, Hatboro, Levittown, Morrisville, Bristol, Cherry Hill, Princeton, Trenton).
- This role is primarily onsite to support design-for-manufacture, prototyping and production activities. Occasional travel to vendor or customer sites may be required.
