Responsibilities

Provides entry-level processing, coordination, analysis, and verification of gas measurement data to support billing, transportation customers, city border measurements, and receipt meters. Key duties include:

  • Process, research, compile, verify and prepare measurement information, including:
    • Gas measurement database updates
    • Measurement station and meter configuration files
    • New customer setups, terminations, ownership and supplier changes
    • Volumes received/delivered files and exception reports
    • Contract-related measurement data
  • Provide measurement information and answers for gas suppliers, large-volume customers, internal teams, and others (volume and gas analysis, meter on/off reads, pressures, temperatures, calculations, equipment maintenance).
  • Verify volumes and review/analyze measurement data to resolve discrepancies and maintain record integrity using tools such as FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, and MMS.
  • Produce, compose, and prepare correspondence and reports related to measurement findings.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, or a related field preferred — or equivalent combination of education and work experience (typically up to two years of relevant professional experience).
  • Entry-level to early-career role; candidates with up to two years of related measurement or data-analysis experience are encouraged to apply.

Skills & knowledge

  • Knowledge of gas measurement functions and terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze measurement data and deliver accurate results.
  • Experience with gas measurement software and database applications (FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, MMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information and to read and interpret manuals, forms, publications, and reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage daily/monthly assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Licenses & certifications

  • None required.

  • Able to operate standard office tools and equipment.
  • Able to sit and work stationary for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform job tasks.
  • Ability to respond quickly to meter or equipment configuration changes when needed.
