Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Measurement Systems Analyst I to support measurement and regulation functions in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on processing, coordinating, analyzing, and verifying gas measurement data used for billing, city border calculations, and receipt meters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with data systems (FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, MMS), and able to communicate measurement results to internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process, research, compile, verify and prepare measurement data and related records
  • Maintain gas measurement database information and meter/station configuration files
  • Handle new customer setups, terminations, ownership and supplier changes
  • Manage volumes received/delivered files, exception reports and contracts
  • Review and verify measurement volumes and resolve discrepancies using tools like FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen and MMS
  • Provide measurement and gas analysis information to gas suppliers, large-volume customers and employees
  • Support meter information tasks (on/off reads, pressures, temperatures, calculations, maintenance records)
  • Produce timely, accurate reports and correspondence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain regular, reliable attendance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Typically up to two years of relevant professional experience; equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education
  • Knowledge of measurement functions and measurement terminology applicable to third-party gas customers
  • Demonstrated ability in measurement data analytics and verification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, complete work on deadline
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with internal and external customers

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience or training with gas measurement software and database applications (FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, MMS)
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and presentation tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, forms, publications and reports
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage recurring monthly tasks

Additional Requirements

  • Able to operate standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)
  • Able to remain stationary for extended periods and respond quickly to meter or equipment configuration changes
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform job duties
  • This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK and requires regular in-office presence
