What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Measurement Systems Analyst to process, coordinate, analyze, and verify gas measurement data used for billing, transportation, and operational reporting. In this role you will:

  • Process, research, compile, verify, and prepare measurement-related information, including:
    • Gas measurement database records
    • Measurement station and meter configuration files
    • New customer setups, terminations, ownership and supplier changes
    • Volumes received and delivered files
    • Exception reports and contracts
  • Provide measurement information and support to gas suppliers, large-volume customers, employees, and other stakeholders (volume & gas analysis, measurement corrections/discrepancies, meter reads, pressures, temperatures, equipment maintenance).
  • Review and analyze measurement data to resolve discrepancies, maintain record integrity, and verify volumes using systems such as FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, and MMS.
  • Produce accurate, complete, and timely daily and monthly work products and reports.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external customers and escalate issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Estimated salary: $57,785 per year (estimated).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Typically up to two years of relevant professional experience for this entry-level role.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze measurement data and provide measurement data analytics.
  • Experience reading and interpreting manuals, forms, publications, and reports.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Skills & Tools

  • Experience with gas measurement software and databases (FlowCal, Quorum, Banner, Maximo, Billgen, MMS) — or aptitude and willingness to learn these tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, data integrity orientation, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Comfortable operating standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.).

Additional Requirements

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Ability to work stationary for extended periods and visually inspect/configure meter information as needed.
  • Ability to react quickly to necessary meter or equipment configuration changes.
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
