Compensation
Confidential Client offers competitive starting compensation for the 2026–2027 school year:
- Certified teachers: starting at $64,000 (this includes a $5,000 Certified Math Teacher Stipend)
- Non-certified teachers: starting at $56,000
- Estimated annual pay shown on source: $69,167 (estimated)
Additional one-time incentives noted in the source posting:
- $2,000 STAAR-tested grade-level hiring incentive
- $4,000 late hire bonus
What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality instruction and learning experiences for 6th-grade mathematics students that support their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and Texas Education Agency standards
- Use varied instructional strategies, technology, and materials to meet diverse student learning needs
- Assess student learning regularly (formal and informal) and use data to guide instruction
- Collaborate with special education staff to modify instruction per Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Manage classroom behavior following the Student Code of Conduct
- Plan and supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned
- Sponsor/lead extracurricular activities when assigned
- Maintain required records, reports, and documentation
- Participate in staff development, faculty meetings, and school committees
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
Required / Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated competency in middle-school mathematics instruction
- Strong classroom management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction best practices
- Ability to plan lessons and assess student learning effectively
- One-year student teaching or approved internship preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements is preferred but not strictly required (non-certified candidates may be considered per source)
Additional requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Subject to any background checks or clearances required by state law and district policy
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct the work of assigned instructional aide(s) and volunteer(s) when applicable.
