What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Material Control Analyst to support materials fulfillment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will work with Material Control, Requirements Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Operations to ensure on‑time material flow, accurate inventory, and timely production.

• Support on‑time delivery of materials to satisfy manufacturing requirements and shop floor needs.
• Track, analyze and report work‑in‑progress and inventory levels to maintain coverage and identify trends.
• Identify recurring critical‑path items, develop recovery plans and coordinate with Purchasing, Suppliers and Operations to mitigate production impacts.
• Maintain accurate MRP/material master data (reorder points, lot sizes, planned delivery times, safety stock, planner codes).
• Monitor work order release, back‑flush/post‑deduct inventory, cost variances and material transaction integrity.
• Escalate and help resolve material discrepancies, receiving problems, quality holds and asset diversions.
• Provide daily updates to management on aircraft/production flow, critical components and work order status.
• Serve as a liaison across Materials, Requirements Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Scheduling and Quality.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and complete assigned Lean training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related field — OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry‑level role; related experience in manufacturing, inventory processes, shop‑floor material control or warehousing preferred.
• Strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with MRP systems; SAP experience desired but not required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience analyzing inventory trends, creating recovery plans and building actionable reports.
• Familiarity with production scheduling, work order flow and cost‑per‑work‑order concepts.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methods.
