What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Match Grant Program Specialist to deliver employment-focused case management and early self‑sufficiency services to refugees and other eligible program participants. You will help clients prepare for, secure, and retain employment through individualized planning, community and employer connections, and hands-on support.
- Provide ongoing case management for Match Grant clients: assess needs, develop and monitor individualized service plans, identify and address barriers to self-sufficiency.
- Deliver employment preparation and support: job readiness training, resume and application assistance, interview prep, job placement, onboarding support, and job retention activities.
- Maintain regular client contact via office meetings, phone, and home visits as appropriate to monitor progress and provide support.
- Build and sustain relationships with local employers, training providers, and community partners to identify job opportunities and advocate for clients.
- Research vocational and credentialing pathways that align with client skills and goals, and connect clients with training or education resources.
- Assist clients with employment-related requirements (applications, resumes, cover letters, reference letters, background checks, drug screens, documentation).
- Provide transportation assistance for interviews and initial employment when program guidelines permit.
- Keep detailed, timely case notes and client files to ensure compliance with Match Grant and ORR program requirements.
- Provide orientation and ongoing education on workplace expectations, financial self-sufficiency, and available community resources.
- Coordinate with internal programs and external service providers to ensure clients access necessary social, legal, and vocational supports.
- Equip clients to navigate systems independently and advocate for themselves to reach long-term self-sufficiency.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and maintain scheduled office hours.
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to meet MVR standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree OR at least one year of relevant office experience.
- Willingness and ability to perform pre-employment checks (background check, drug screening) as required.
- Strong organizational skills and accurate recordkeeping.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23 - $25 per hour (hourly, full-time).
- This is a regular full-time role eligible for the client’s benefits package (medical, paid time off, retirement/401(k) options and other benefits may apply) — subject to the confidential client’s policies.

Work Arrangement & Location
- Hybrid role based in Austin, TX: typically 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
- Local candidates able to commute to the Austin office are preferred.
