Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for a Security & Law Enforcement (Master-at-Arms) role based in Mcalester, OK. This is an armed, safety-critical position focused on force protection, physical security, law enforcement, and expeditionary security operations. Training and clear advancement pathways are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct antiterrorism and force-protection patrols on installations and piers
• Staff sentry and access-control posts; manage entry to secure areas
• Perform vehicle, personnel, and baggage inspections to detect weapons or contraband
• Enforce traffic and parking rules; respond to calls for service and investigate incidents
• Collect, preserve evidence and prepare reports and case files
• Provide crowd control and law-enforcement presence at events and emergencies
• Operate and maintain small arms, crew-served weapons, non-lethal tools, security vehicles, and boats
• Support harbor and waterside security, high-value escorts, and expeditionary security missions
• Supervise and train junior security personnel in watchstanding, weapons handling, and security procedures

• Assignments at installations in the U.S. and overseas, aboard ships, and with expeditionary security units
• Regular work on bases, piers, flight lines, harbor security boats, in patrol vehicles, kennels, armories, and security operations centers
• Opportunities for overseas and forward-deployed tours depending on billet and mission needs
• Close coordination with other security forces, joint partners, and investigative agencies as required

Qualifications

All applicants must meet general enlistment or service-entry standards appropriate to the role and component. Typical requirements include:

• Eligibility to serve under U.S. military enlistment rules (citizenship or legal residency/work status as permitted by current policy)
• High school diploma or equivalent for enlisted positions
• Meet age limits, medical, vision, dental, body-composition, and physical-fitness standards
• Satisfy character and conduct screening, including background checks
• Achieve required test scores (e.g., ASVAB for enlisted roles) and be eligible for security clearances where required

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Prior law enforcement, corrections/parole, security, or military police experience (may qualify for direct-entry at advanced paygrades)
• Ability to qualify with small arms and crew-served weapons
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, deploy, and accept sea-duty or dependent-restricted tours as required
• Strong moral character and a clean legal history suitable for armed law-enforcement duties

• Initial recruit training followed by Master-at-Arms Class "A" School (basic law enforcement, weapons handling, antiterrorism, and patrol procedures)
• On-the-job qualification through Personnel Qualification Standards and unit training
• Opportunities for advanced schools and Navy Enlisted Classifications (e.g., Military Working Dog Handler, Kennel Master, Harbor Security Coxswain, Corrections Specialist, Small Arms Instructor, Criminal Investigator)

Pay, Benefits & Incentives

• Estimated pay (per source): $72,740 per year — actual pay and entitlements depend on component, rank/paygrade, years of service, and current policy
