Role overview
This role supports the marketing automation platform and cross-system integrations that power demand generation and marketing operations. You will help configure campaigns and assets, maintain integrations and field mappings with CRM systems, troubleshoot sync issues, and support data governance and campaign hygiene — working closely with IT, Marketing Operations, and Sales Operations. What You’ll Do
- Support platform operations for marketing automation (campaigns, folders, tokens, naming conventions).
- Translate stakeholder requirements into reusable templates, program frameworks, and technical configurations.
- Build and maintain field mappings and synchronization logic between marketing systems and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Clone, configure, and test forms, landing pages, and web assets in sandbox and production; use HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Troubleshoot sync and API errors; escalate and collaborate with senior engineers as needed.
- Assist with sandbox refreshes, asset restoration, and sync re-establishment.
- Help construct trigger-based campaigns, automated workflows, and nurture programs.
- Monitor system health and campaign performance dashboards; flag issues and maintain data-quality practices.
- Support user account creation, permission governance, and secure access controls.
- Follow compliance and data-governance standards across marketing and CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical, engineering, or systems support role.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript exposure is a plus.
- Understanding of APIs and webhooks or demonstrated aptitude to learn integration concepts quickly.
- Familiarity or exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and/or marketing automation platforms; prior Marketo experience optional.
- Comfortable working with structured data: field mapping, data types, and schema logic.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and systematic troubleshooting approach.
- Clear communicator able to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Any hands-on exposure to Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with CRM objects (Leads/Contacts/Accounts/Opportunities).
- Coursework or projects involving REST APIs or third-party integrations (e.g., Google, Meta, LinkedIn ad platforms).
- Certifications such as Marketo Certified Associate/Expert or Salesforce Admin (not required).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: USD $89,816 – $113,450 annually.
- Target annual bonus: varies by level.
