What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Marketing Specialist to support digital and broadcast advertising and sales activities. This is a client-facing, revenue-driven role that combines prospecting, presentation, account management, and CRM upkeep to grow local and agency business.

• Sales and service to new local business accounts and agency partners
• Prepare and deliver presentations that include station and market research
• Drive the highest possible share of client media buys
• Maintain timely account paperwork (orders, avails, client correspondence) and communicate daily with traffic, production, and sales leadership to expedite client needs
• Monitor competitive media and market conditions; report account and market status to management
• Generate revenue to meet station and Marketing Specialist budget targets
• Build a book of business and develop personal commission income; role is designed to transition toward a commission-based model after the first year
• Manage and maintain the HubSpot CRM: accurate pipeline tracking, client records, sales activity, forecasting, and opportunity management (daily/weekly/monthly)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field preferred but not required
• Comfortable marketing and selling digital and broadcast marketing solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; confident public speaker
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage client relationships end-to-end
• Self-starter with a competitive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn digital advertising and media-sales best practices
• Professional appearance and manner
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable daily access to a personal vehicle required due to frequent local travel throughout the service area

• Estimated pay: $70,405 per year (estimated)

• Employment type: Full-time
• Work location: Sierra, NV (in-office / field work; significant local travel required)
• This position will report to sales/marketing leadership at the Confidential Client
