Role Summary

The Marketing Specialist is an entry-level, full‑time role supporting the marketing team for a Confidential Client in the PR, Advertising & Marketing industry. You will help plan, create, deliver, and report on marketing programs across channels (email, social, digital, events), contributing to brand awareness, product promotion, and campaign performance.


What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Work with marketing managers to develop, implement, and track email, social media, digital campaigns, and event promotion.
  • Collaborate with multiple business lines to support strategic marketing initiatives for external and internal audiences.
  • Provide trafficking support and track completion of internal marketing requests.
  • Assist with campaign reporting, invoice processing, and performance analysis.
  • Support market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Help create marketing materials (sales collateral, product sheets) and ensure brand and compliance standards are met.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across channels.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to execute programs.
  • Manage logistics and administrative tasks for trade shows and events.
  • Deliver outstanding internal customer service and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to corporate policies, federal/state regulations, and complete mandatory compliance training (including BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC awareness as relevant to the financial services environment).
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project‑management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketing automation or email tools (HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Exposure to project management tools (Basecamp, Asana, Trello).
  • Basic experience or interest in programmatic/digital ad campaigns and marketing analytics.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers).
  • Must be able to perform light physical activity such as reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs., and moving around the office to attend meetings.

Compensation
