What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring a Marketing & Sales Specialist to support sales and school-relations efforts for higher-education clients. This early-career role coordinates marketing campaigns, content, events, lead-generation, and sales enablement activities to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns (email, lead-nurture, social, digital) aligned to target audiences and business goals.
- Produce clear, brand-aligned content for websites, newsletters, blogs, social, webinars, presentations, and collateral.
- Support planning and logistics for webinars, virtual events, conferences, and trade shows, including promotion and post-event follow-up.
- Generate, qualify, and nurture leads while maintaining accurate prospect and campaign data in CRM and marketing systems.
- Create sales enablement materials (presentations, one-pagers, case studies, proposals) to support outreach and pipeline development.
- Monitor campaign performance, report results, and recommend optimizations to increase awareness, engagement, traffic, and qualified opportunities.
- Research higher-education and EdTech markets, competitors, and industry trends; translate findings into actionable recommendations for marketing and sales outreach.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve content production, outreach efficiency, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with sales and cross-functional teams to align messaging, target accounts, and follow-up cadence.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years professional experience in marketing, sales support, business development, communications, or related roles.
- Experience creating multi-channel marketing content and executing campaigns.
- Track record coordinating projects, events, or marketing initiatives with strong organization and time management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
Preferred / nice-to-have
- Experience working with higher education, EdTech, student services, financial aid, or workforce development.
- Experience with Salesforce (or comparable CRM) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience supporting lead generation, sales development, and integrated marketing programs.
- Experience planning or supporting webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Familiarity using AI tools to support content creation and marketing workflows.
