Role Summary

This is a contract Project Manager role supporting Marketing Operations for a Confidential Client. You will manage the end-to-end artwork development lifecycle for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands — coordinating commercialization, creative, regulatory, packaging engineering, and external agencies to reduce cycle times and ensure accurate, on-spec packaging artwork delivery.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for end-to-end artwork development including milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Validate accuracy of specifications, copy, regulatory content, and brand guidelines at each stage to reduce rework.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks by proactively flagging blockers, escalating risks, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Partner with commercialization to ensure briefs are complete and submitted on time to avoid creative delays.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication across brand, regulatory, packaging engineering, creative production, and external agencies.
  • Track and report artwork turnaround metrics; highlight trends and opportunities to reduce cycle times.
  • Facilitate status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership on project health and resource needs.
  • Support documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to build repeatable artwork workflows.
  • Manage multiple concurrent artwork projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project/program management or related coordination experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Workfront, or similar).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CPG, grocery, retail, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows, packaging artwork development, or print production processes.
  • Knowledge of packaging specifications, regulatory labeling, or compliance requirements.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification.
  • Experience with Workfront and proofing tools such as ProofHQ.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across distributed teams and a bias for action.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and domain knowledge rapidly.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (range provided by the client). Individual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

  • Workplace: Fully onsite in Tarrytown, TX (Confidential Client site). Local candidates or those able to commute to the Tarrytown, TX location are required.
