What You’ll Do

You will join the Consumer Insights & Analytics function at a Confidential Client to support marketing, loyalty, and strategic analytics across consumer brands and digital programs. You’ll analyze performance, build repeatable measurement frameworks, and translate data into clear recommendations that inform marketing and business decisions.

  • Analyze marketing effectiveness across campaigns and channels, including performance during key campaign windows.
  • Build standardized campaign scorecards that connect media, promotional, and business outcomes across brands.
  • Identify customer and market segments with the greatest potential to improve traffic, frequency, and sales.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to define performance KPIs, measurement plans, and post-campaign learning agendas.
  • Monitor competitive activity and category trends to identify brand risks and whitespace opportunities.
  • Assist in designing, fielding, and analyzing market tests and site selection studies; translate results into recommendations.
  • Support experimental design and execution for marketing, digital, and menu initiatives (hypotheses, methodology, analysis).
  • Execute day-to-day management of tracking studies (e.g., brand health, loyalty), data quality checks, and recurring KPI reporting.

Loyalty & Member Analytics

You will closely support loyalty program measurement and member lifecycle work to improve acquisition, activation, and retention.

  • Evaluate member acquisition, activation, retention, frequency, and offer redemption to identify growth drivers.
  • Analyze national activation days and partnership events to find opportunities to acquire, activate, and re-engage members.
  • Develop member segments and behavioral profiles to support more relevant communications, offers, and experiences.
  • Measure incremental impact of loyalty offers, campaigns, and program changes on guest behavior and business performance.
  • Identify lifecycle improvements and targeted activation, engagement, and win-back strategies.
  • Support recurring loyalty program analytics (signups, redemptions, active guests, churn) and related center-of-excellence analyses.

Strategic Initiatives & Ad-hoc Analytics

You’ll support cross-functional decisions with data-driven business cases and ad-hoc analyses.

  • Respond to analytic requests spanning menu innovation, revenue management, operations, and value sizing.
  • Prepare analyses, decks, and materials for business review meetings with brand and leadership stakeholders.
  • Combine internal and syndicated data sources to provide fact-based points of view on business questions.
  • Develop business cases and sizing analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, investment priorities, and trade-offs.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics, data science, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years (typically 2–3) of experience in business/marketing analytics, business intelligence, consumer/guest research, or a related field. Restaurant or retail industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams (brand marketing, digital, loyalty, operations, vendor partners).

Required Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in SQL and Databricks.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Working knowledge of analytical methods: customer segmentation, tracking/trend analysis, market testing, and marketing effectiveness measurement.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, integrate disparate data sources, and surface actionable insights.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills; able to communicate findings clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and large datasets; strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new software/web-based tools quickly and to build effective working relationships across stakeholder groups.
