What You’ll Do
This Marketing Coordinator role supports the marketing team for a confidential client’s Broadway productions and North American tours. You’ll help coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, manage creative assets, and support day-to-day marketing operations so materials are delivered on time, on brand, and to the right partners.
- Assist with coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across Broadway and touring productions
- Track timelines, deadlines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects
- Route creative materials for approvals and support trafficking across print, digital, TV, radio, social, outdoor, and in-theatre channels
- Localize and traffic email and SMS templates for regional campaigns
- Maintain and distribute creative files to internal teams, agencies, vendors, and theatrical partners
- Help maintain asset management systems, websites, and archives for marketing materials
Marketing Operations & Events
Support marketing operations across markets and help deliver on-the-ground materials for touring engagements.
- Log key touring dates (presales, on-sales, campaign milestones) in shared calendars
- Coordinate delivery, shipping, and tracking of tour marketing materials, promotional displays, and merchandise
- Communicate with local presenters, venues, and external marketing partners
- Support promotional requests (e.g., Playbill inserts, partner materials) and activations
- Assist with vendor coordination for printed and promotional materials
- Help coordinate marketing activations, events, and special projects
Administrative & Financial Support
Provide administrative backbone to keep the team running smoothly.
- Process and track vendor invoices accurately
- Assist with expense reporting and basic budget tracking
- Coordinate meetings, schedules and logistics including booking rooms and preparing agendas
- Take meeting notes, maintain documentation, and support department coordination
Who We’re Looking For
This is an entry-level / early-career role suited to organized, detail-oriented candidates with a passion for marketing and live entertainment.
Required
- Internship or entry-level experience in marketing, communications, or production
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support team needs
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to an inclusive and respectful workplace
Preferred
- 2+ years in marketing, entertainment, theatre, or agency environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Theatre, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic familiarity with digital marketing, social media, or campaign coordination
- Experience with tools such as Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms
Compensation & Location
- Location: New York, NY (Grand Central area)
- Hiring range for New York, NY: $55,700 - $72,000 per year (based on a 40-hour work week). The final base pay will depend on internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional bonus or long-term incentives and benefits may be provided depending on role level.
