Position overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Marketing Assistant to join a busy healthcare marketing team. This hands-on role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career marketer who wants broad exposure to healthcare marketing, digital content, event coordination, and routine administrative support. You will help keep projects on track, maintain marketing assets, and assist with day-to-day execution across physician- and practice-level initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing and updating marketing materials — flyers, physician materials, presentations, signage, and basic digital graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Maintain project trackers, organize assets, monitor deadlines, and follow up on outstanding items to keep campaigns moving.
- Support basic content updates for websites, email campaigns, social media, and other digital channels under direction of the marketing team.
- Proofread materials and verify branding, links, and details before publication or production.
- Help track marketing expenses and enter invoices/payments into budgeting trackers.
Event Coordination & Community Outreach
- Support planning and execution of community events, health fairs, sponsorships, physician events, and in-office initiatives.
- Assist with event logistics: vendor coordination, registration materials, promotional items, shipping, inventory, on-site setup, and breakdown.
- Maintain event calendars, track deliverables, and prepare materials needed before and after events.
- Be available occasionally for evening or weekend events.
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, branded collateral, photography, and digital content.
- Create, order, and distribute physician/practice materials (business cards, brochures, signage, appointment cards, etc.).
- Assist with Google Business Profiles, physician profiles, directory listings, and basic website updates.
- Provide general administrative support: processing invoices, coordinating vendors, organizing shipments, and conducting basic research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Internship, campus organization, part-time, or related marketing experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Flexibility to attend occasional weekend or evening events.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $45,000–$50,000 annually (starting rate depends on qualifications, experience, and location).
