Manufacturing Technician
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for producing therapeutic proteins under cGMP conditions by operating and monitoring production equipment, performing laboratory tests, and maintaining facility standards. This entry-level role involves executing process recipes, adhering to SOPs, and supporting sanitation and documentation efforts within a production suite environment.

What You’ll Do
The Manufacturing Technician will support the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API) in a cGMP production environment. This is a hands-on production role with room for training and development under close supervision.
- Execute process recipes and follow written SOPs to support production runs
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and systems, including CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Steam-in-Place)
- Perform basic laboratory checks and sampling (pH, conductivity, sample collection) and document results
- Handle material transfers and movement of raw materials and chemicals between production areas
- Maintain facility and equipment cleanliness through routine sanitization and support 6S initiatives
- Accurately document activities per GMP/GDP requirements (shift handovers, batch logs, forms)
- Complete assigned training and maintain qualification records for tasks
- Participate in team meetings, email communications, and project work as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline
- Experience:
- Entry level — 0 to 4 years in manufacturing or lab-adjacent roles
- Skills & attributes:
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures (SOPs, safety rules)
- Basic familiarity with lab measurements (pH, conductivity) a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
- Able to work multiple shifts and follow shift-change procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Location & Logistics
- Work location: Production Suite — Portsmouth, NH (on-site)
- Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension
- Multiple shifts available
- Employment type: CONTRACTOR (6-month contract)
