Your Impact
Confidential Client is seeking a Manufacturing Safety Coordinator who will help maintain a safe, compliant production environment by performing industrial hygiene evaluations, delivering safety training, and supporting injury prevention and regulatory compliance initiatives across the facility.
- Conduct safety audits to identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and practices; recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace injuries and incidents; follow up to ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Maintain required documentation for DOT and other regulatory programs.
- Coordinate industrial hygiene testing (noise, air quality, etc.) and manage corrective actions when needed.
- Develop, deliver, and track safety-related training to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly safety reports for management review.
- Lead and strengthen the ergonomics program to reduce musculoskeletal injuries.
- Coordinate services with insurance carriers and outside consultants as needed.
- Organize and manage the Safety Representative Program to ensure employee participation and a safer workplace.
- Collaborate with Health Services on workers’ compensation matters.
- Serve on the Safety Implementation Team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review new equipment, processes, and facility designs with manufacturing and engineering to ensure safe design and operation.
- Develop and recommend accident prevention and protective procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Internship or practical safety experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Standout Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/production facility.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and industrial hygiene practices.
- Willingness to travel to other plant locations as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret safety data.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
The role is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may include:
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
- Tasks requiring standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Visual and auditory acuity necessary for safe operation and communication.

Compensation
- Pay Range: $51,400.00 - $79,200.00 per year (range reflects minimum and maximum target pay across U.S. locations; individual pay dependent on experience, skills, and location).
